a bush in time

I got up to look at the moon last night. 3am on the back step and it was glorious. So bright & large. The clouds were moving faster across the sky than I ever remember seeing them move.
Next week the sky will be littered with military for the presidential visit.
Did you read the Book of Lists when you were younger? I liked the section where people would comprise the top 10 people from history that they would have to dinner. The lists had many consistencies. Nearly every respondent would invite Jesus, Hitler, Stalin and quite a few marilyn Monroe & John F. Kennedy. I've thought about it, I'd invite King Charles the 2nd and William Penn as 2 of my guests to discuss the awkward politics that created America. My other 8 would undoubtedly include Helen of Troy (to see if it's true) , Pierre Trudeau (for the comic relief), Rumi (for the after dinner conversation by the fire), Vlad the Impaler (to talk about the Dracula blood line), King Arthur (to gets some tips as to where that fancy cup may be), Columbus (so he could be brought up to date about the false information history has put forth in his name & make a uge disclaimer), my great great great aunt Agnes (who reformed psychatric hospitals in Canada from torture chambers so she could see the current inadequacies for herself) & Kashta, an early Kushite King (because there are a lot of unanswered questions about this period of history). The only problem is what would I serve?
