If I had a vote in nature I would vote for the end of fruitfly mating season. David Suzuki would be angry with me due to the honourable input the Drosophila melanogaster species has made to genetics research but I'd bear the weight of that to stop the swarm of newborn flies up my nostrils everytime I open the recycling bin.
