On the day I was born Elvis was playing Las Vegas, Frances Farmer had just died, the midi skirt was on the front cover of Life magazine, Venera 7 was in its first 4 days of orbit (the first spacecraft to successfully transmit data from another planet), Huey Newton, leader of the Black Panthers publicly stated his solidarity with the gay power movement in NYC, President Richard Nixon and the White House released the text of a declaration on United States and Mexican discussions on marijuana, narcotics, and dangerous drugs by Attorney General John N. Mitchell and Attorney General of Mexico Julio Sanchez Vargas, Aussie wrestler Nathan Jones was born, the number 1 song in North America was "Close to You" by the Carpenters, Led Zepplin was rockin' the Civic centre in Tulsa, Oklahoma thus creating the top selling concert bootleg ever, 8 filmmakers were starting the CAK Fund to help pay for the medical bills and legal fees of the students wounded earlier that May when the Ohio National Guard violently broke down a protest at Kent State University, Frank Zappa was releasing "Weasels Ripped my Flesh" & probably all kinds of other things you don't find in the 1st 20 pages of a google search of your birthdate.
