You be Atlas, I'll be Heaven, then we'll trade.

I'm gonna ask Atlas on a date, see how things go. I figure anyone capable of carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders wouldn't be bad to have around. Look at him all naked and burdened like that. If things work out I'm moving to Atlantis. It's cool, he's the gatekeeper so I won't need a visa or anything.

"Hey long time no s... Ewww what's that!"

1993 The Other Side of the World (or thereabouts) & he was some sexy surfer raised all over the world by travelling documentary making parents. Sunswept and oh so natural in his fushia sarong, plunking his surfboard next to me and flopping onto the sand in such a way that I could see the Pacific horizon behind him just so. My word, he was beautiful, blue eyes popping out like sapphires in the dusk. It was all very heady and intriguing, I was certainly not the surfer type myself, no flashing white teeth, no ripply little ride the waves all day muscles. No tanned hide flesh or sun freckles across my face, I suppose what drew him over was my 50's housewife look, glaring white flesh, red polka dot bikini and a big fat novel all tucked under a beach canopy, hidden behind big cat eye sunglasses to keep that Cali sun away. "well, hello there" led to one hell of a summer. I learned to surf and got over sand burn on the buttocks if ya know what I mean.
So he googled me, googled me and found me. Sent me an email with pictures and it's too bad. He was 10 yrs older than me then. He's 100 yrs older than me now. It's too bad really how the bubble was broken, the memory was better.
